Absent to class and need to convert images to black and white? 


You can go to http://www.picmonkey.com 
Select Edit and upload an image. Next, with the crop tool selected on the tool bar, go to Colors.
Move the saturation slider all the way to the left to make the image black and white. 
Move the temperature slider to get the best range of grays. 
Next, further improve your photo by selecting Exposure. 
Use the sliders to adjust brightness, highlights, shadows and contrast. 
Remember, you want a properly exposed image with a range of grays from white too black. 
Don't make your image too high contrast!
